A sincere letter of what Easter means to me and us all.

What is the Meaning of Easter means:

Romans 10:9

"If you (1)confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and (2)believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."(not maybe)

This is one of the most important verses in the entire Bible -- It tells us the requirements to be saved!

I've been asked today, "How do I become a Christian?" or "How can I know I am going to heaven?"

It's very simple.

The following explains how you can receive Christ:

You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer!

There are no 'magic words' to become a Christian.  Remember -- praying is talking to God, not just saying wordsGod knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer, - "pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

"Father God, I come to You right now, in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. You say in Your word (bible) that if I confess my sins and ask forgiveness, You are faithful and will forgive my sins and remember them no more.  You will not hold them against me and You will give me everlasting life.

Lord Jesus, I need You.

I come to you confess that I have sinned against You God.  I have not followed Your commandments and I have broken Your laws.  I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness.

Father, I believe that Jesus Christ, is Your only Son, came to Earth and was born, that He lived among us, and that He was crucified to die in my place to pay for my sins and for anyones

sins.  I believe that You raised Him from the dead, which conquered DEATH so we can live forever as He Lives and we will receive the promised land - Heaven. Send the Holy Spirit to guide me, protect me, lead me and counsel me.  Send Your angels to gather around me and protect me. Protect me from Satan and his evil forces.  Help me grow in wisdom, knowledge and love for You and Your ways.  Give me the strength and courage to change my ways and resist the Devil and avoid sin in the future.

Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins.

I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord.

Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.

Take control of my life.

Make me to be the kind of person You want me to be for you and those around me.

Guide me.  Increase my faith, and make me sure in the knowledge that I can rely on You, no matter what may come.  Lead me to a good church where I can learn Your word and the Father's will, where I can fellowship with Christians and grow in my knowledge of You.

Help me to share this opportunity to others around me. In Jesus' name, Amen"

You can even just say, Lord remember me, have mercy on me. I've got caught up with the things of the world around me, I've left you out or put you 2nd or 3th or 4th in my life. Forgive me, and help me to turn from my old habits and ways of living and live anew for you. Help me to be a good father, mother, suppose, child or friend for you.

Did you just pray this prayer to Jesus?

Yes, I just asked Jesus into my life

Next thing is to tell someone to affirm yourself to another believer or not, that you know God and He saved me!

Remember what Jesus asked us in Luke 6:46 - Why do you call me, `Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

Allow and Let yourself try your best one day at a time to follow His word and calling on your Life. He has a plan and purpose for your future.

We are satan's enemy and he tries to hurt us very often to test our faith. Just remember, he has no power over you!  He number one way to hurt us is through hurting our hearts, emotions and FEAR. Give it to God Daily. He is there to help us through all trying and difficult times. But keep your eyes on the joy He gives and promise he gives us of life abundantly, and everlasting life.

This is what and why Easter had to come. So we can have a one on one relationship/commune/friendship/partnership/and His Child!

God bless you and your life!

(I again reprayer this today, to get me rededicated and back on track with His presence and will in my life!)

Happy Easter.

Love you-

If you only knew the gift God has for you

Jesus replied, "If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water."

the difference between Support Group vs. Individual Therapy

Support Groups: What Are They All About?

Ever wondered if a professionally facilitated therapeutic support group would be right for you?

Some clients that come to me express reluctance when the option of joining Group is presented, while others are more open to the concept.

In the end, most of those that are initially reluctant and yet decide to give it a go, find group to be an enriching and wonderful experience. Whichever you prefer, be it individual counseling or group therapy, this site looks at both.

Support Group vs. Individual Therapy

Just a few of the benefits for each

Group Therapy Benefits:

Provides you with a support system ( which we all need )
Receive peer feed back and support ( for a variety of input )
Receive professional feedback and support
Fee is generally less than individual sessions
Truly see that your struggles are shared by others, learn from their experiences, share some of your own success.

Individual Therapy Benefits:

Provides you support
The entire session is focused on you
Appointments arranged around YOUR own schedule
Excellent for crisis management
Beneficial as an addition to group, as needed

805Therapy being told, "no one will ever want you" is emotional abuse
805Therapy Addictions represent poor coping skills

DEPRESSION

People who struggle with depression often feel down for extended periods. They lose interest in activities that they once found pleasurable. Depression negatively affects millions of Americans each year.

ANXIETY AND STRESS

Stress and anxiety are related, but often confused. Stress is tension associated with a specific event (e.g. a test or a job), while anxiety is a non-specific worry about the future. To find relief, people with anxiety may turn to repetitive routines, preoccupations, or addictions.

ARGUMENTS

Conflict resolution is an important part of any relationship. Conflict plays a vital role in allowing two people to reconcile differing needs. Unfortunately, when conflict is handled poorly, it can cause distress in the relationship.

TRAUMA

Experiences that overwhelm or scare us can leave a lasting impression. The symptoms can leave us stressed, depressed, and have negative consequences for our work and home life.

COMMUNICATION

Feeling understood and understanding ones partner is what allows couples to deeply share one another?s lives. Often, couples struggle with communication issues, which actually mask deeper relationship issues.

TRUST

Trust plays a vital role in sustaining a relationship. People trust differently. For some, trust is established quickly, while others are slow to grant trust. Similarly, some are able to forgive quickly, while others find it hard.

SELF-ESTEEM

Self-esteem is a feeling of personal worth. It is important to be able to value yourself regardless of your current state of personal achievement, beauty, or intelligence. Your self-esteem creates the foundation for a full life, great relationships, and a feeling of well-being.

(This is just a sampling of issues that therapy can help with.)

Many are under the false impression that human traffickers shuttle women in and out of Asia to work in massage parlors, many of which are fronts for prostitution. Not all of those women, however, come from Asia; many are coming from our neighboring country of Canada, lured into their situation by recruiters offering false promises of a career as a model or a dancer.

Numerous girls are arrested in our city daily for solicitation and then thrown in the Clark County Detention Center until they can appear before a judge or get bailed out by their pimps. The traffickers remain unknown and untouched when, in reality, they are the ones who should be targeted by law enforcement.

Very seldom do we see human traffickers prosecuted in Las Vegas. Often, those criminals are unknown to police officers because the arrested alleged prostitute is afraid of the beating she will receive if she discloses the name of her pimp or the recruiter who brought her to Las Vegas under false pretenses. Other times, the naive girls still believe that their pimps are in love with them and refuse to compromise them in any way.

The girls are lured by pimps and other girls' recruiters into prostitution at hotels on and off the Las Vegas Strip, and they are bound to their unwanted and forced-upon-them lifestyle by threats and intimidation.

Although we cannot know the actual number, many girls have disappeared from Las Vegas over the years - sometime between night and morning - without a trace. Caught up in that unwanted life, those girls would rather prostitute themselves every night than receive a brutal beating they know they will get if they disobey their pimps and fail to bring in the amount of money expected. The pimps depend on controlling those young women through fear and coercion. And that control makes it easy for the trafficking to continue.

The problem in Nevada is not with the legal rural brothels where those ladies have chosen their way of life; many of them support their household and children with the profits from their profession. They have not been and are not being subjected to brutal beatings by owners of those brothels and they do not work there out of fear. Our problem is with human trafficking and the number of girls that are lured to Las Vegas by corrupt men and women.

The girls recruited by those morally-bankrupt individuals are not working in the world's oldest profession by choice; they are victims of criminals reaping often huge profits at the expense of those young, innocent girls, and that is the reason we want to expose some of those people by publishing their pictures and letting the citizens of Las Vegas be aware of who they are.

    Jessica

Glendene Grant - mother of Jessica “Jessie” Foster, a Canadian international endangered missing woman and the victim of human trafficking - has initiated a campaign all around Canada, which is expected to soon extend to the United States, to educate young girls on the dangers of human trafficking. Her own daughter is a victim of the very same people pictured on these pages. Donald Vaz from Calgary, AB, Canada met Jessie Foster, a straight-A student, while she was still in high school. In the spring of 2005 he invited Jessie to go on a trip to Florida. The brainwashing started with that trip to Ft. Lauderdale and Key West, boating and para-sailing on the Atlantic Ocean. Of course it was impressive to a young girl; he was preparing her for the very near future.  After introducing Jessie to the glamour of places like Manhattan, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey, Las Vegas was the ultimate place - the world Capital of Entertainment.

    Richard Barrington Walcott

After arriving in Las Vegas, the very naive Jessie Foster (she was just two weeks short of turning 21) was sold to Richard Barrington Walcott from Surrey, BC, Canada and Yvonne “Angel” Hubrechtsen from Merced, Calif. This little “Angel” is not unknown by law enforcement agents and the personnel of the Clark County Detention Center where she had been a “guest” for drug possession.  Those two got rid of Jessie when they sold her to Peter Bertrand Todd, a man who should be investigated for his dubious business practices by the authorities in Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas, where he has previously lived.

    Yvonne

Before Vice officers arrest a supposed prostitute, they ought to follow her to where the pimp will be waiting to receive his profits from his “ATM machine,” who just happens to be the girl he sent to prostitute herself for his personal benefit.

It is time for Metro officers and Immigration authorities to start investigating all those men coming from Canada with young girls on tour; and more than ever, it's time for the American Embassy in Canada to check on all those coming across.

    Donald Vaz.

Take a look at the pictures of those we mentioned in this article. Based on the information we have, all of them should be deported from the United States immediately. And if any one of them is an American citizen, he or she should be jailed for life for the crime of human trafficking.
